Job Description

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead the delivery of major cyber security initiatives with a primary focus on implementing and uplifting Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) across a large, complex enterprise.
  • Oversee the integration, configuration, and rollout of MFA platforms such as RSA SecurID and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring seamless adoption.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure MFA solutions meet organisational security, compliance, and maturity requirements.
  • Provide strategic advice on identity security, MFA-related design decisions, and alignment to broader IAM frameworks.
  • Guide and mentor multi‑disciplinary project teams involved in MFA and identity security delivery.
  • Engage stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels to drive awareness, support, and successful MFA implementation.
  • Produce high‑quality project documentation including briefs, reports, presentations, and governance updates related to MFA progress and risks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Principal Project Manager - ICT should have:We are seeking applicants who bring:

  • Advanced expertise in formal project management methodologies (PRINCE2 or equivalent).
  • A strong track record successfully delivering complex IM/ICT projects.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading large and diverse project teams.



Highly desirable:

  • Experience implementing MFA solutions such as RSA SecurID or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Background in identity/access management (IAM) technologies.
  • Experience delivering cyber security uplift programs aligned to regulatory or maturity requirements (e.g., IS18-type frameworks).
  • Understanding of operational environments where identity and system access are critical to safety and service continuity.
