The role directly supports the core mission of providing high quality Catholic education through ensuring responsible and efficient resource stewardship.Key responsibilities within the Procurement Manager role include:Establishment of Procurement Practices & FrameworksStrategic Tender ManagementSupplier SelectionSpend Analysis and Opportunity IdentificationRelationship Management - internal and externalTechnology Development - with a specific focus on purchasing and procurement modulesModern Slavery ReportingThe Successful ApplicantApplications for the Procurement Manager position will be assessed against the following criteria:A relevant 3rd level qualification in Business, Commerce or Supply Chain Management is highly desirableAt least 8 years experience managing procurement within a large, complex organisation - with experience gained in an education context highly advantageousProven experience in developing and implementing procurement frameworks and policies, as well as driving long-term strategic procurement strategies that align with organisational goalsIdeally you will have direct exposure to relevant categories; including IT (software and hardware) and construction/facilitiesCurrent and valid Australian Driver's Licence and working rights for the period of the appointmentCleared National Police Check and compliance with Accreditation to Work teach and Lead (or willingness to pursue if successfully appointed)Ability to work from one of the four corporate offices on a full-time basisFull selection criteria can be disclosed during screeningWhat's on OfferAlongside remuneration that reflects the level of the position, the successful candidate will receive the opportunity to step into a genuinely strategically relevant position where they can make an impact across a purpose-driven organisation.
