About Our Client

The client is a leading FMCG organisation.

Job Description

  • Responsible for managing spend to category targets and limit portfolio inflation
  • Accountable for buying decision across categories whilst executing the Procurement Strategy
  • Responsible for mitigating and managing supply risk within categories
  • Leads buying/supply decisions on all projects and/or NPD requirements for categories
  • Direct management of shared resource, high accountability for leading cross-functional teams and managing allocated resources to deliver outcomes
  • Responsible for selecting suppliers that will continue to enhance our sustainable Supply Chain and support our strategy

The Successful Applicant

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Three to Four years' experience in a similar role, with experience leading cross functional teams
  • Procurement or commercial negotiating experience preferred
  • Ability to analyse data and draw insights
  • Demonstrated experience in driving change/projects in a systematic way
  • Good communicator and positive influence of teams
  • Strong financial analytical skills
