Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT-related goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure value for money and quality service.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, proposals, and bids in line with procurement policies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favourable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement guidelines and regulations in the healthcare sector.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Specialist - IT should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT procurement within the healthcare or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
