Job Description



The Procurement Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Development of category and sourcing strategies, RFXs, contract negotiations, contract management plans and supplier relationship / performance management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on procurement decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report upon supplier performance and compliance with contractual agreements, addressing any issues or discrepancies as needed.
  • Champion sustainable procurement practices, ensuring that environmental and social considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.
  • Influencing and mobilising stakeholders to deliver impactful change through clear communications and presentation
  • Promote and drive a comprehensive understanding of the Procurement Policy and its associated processes.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Procurement Specialist role will ideally have the following key skills and quality:

  • Proven experience in an indirect procurement role
  • Solid understanding of tendering and contract negotiation
  • Sourcing experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience procuring in facilities management is desired but isn't essential
