The Clevertronics business has partnered with Michael Page in their search for a Product Development Engineer at their facility in Scoresby, Victoria.
Job Description
As the Product Development Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Development Manager and develop products from idea/proposal through to production including Electronics, Mechanical, testing and compliance.
This organisation is seeking a person that can take ownership of specific product development projects through the complete lifecycle from specification to compliance and manufacturing. It is expected this role will both develop components of the products and manage work being completed by others where required.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a logical thinker and have the ability to efficiently manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Engineering or other relevant degree or comparable industry experience
- Experience integrating mechanical and electrical components.
- Experience with lighting electronics, drivers and LED technologies
- Emergency and Exit lighting product design is highly desirable
- Experience in Embedded hardware development
- Hands on approach that can demonstrate a real attention to detail
