Job Description

πŸš€ Product Manager Mission:

  • Shape Product Strategy: Own the regional product roadmap and drive strategic planning tailored to each unique market.
  • Market Insight & Analysis: Conduct market surveys and competitor benchmarking to understand local dynamics, customer needs, and partnership opportunities.
  • Customer-Focused Innovation: Work closely with utilities and distribution partners to adapt, localize, and enhance smart metering and telecommunications solutions.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of existing and new products, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.
  • Internal & External Influence: Build relationships with procurement teams, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to influence decision-making and close deals.

The Successful Applicant

πŸ” What You Bring:

  • Industry Experience: Background in metering, utilities, or related product vendors (e.g. EDMI, Itron, Secure Meters, Genus).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business instincts, ideally from a private enterprise. Able to develop business cases and support pricing/contract strategy.
  • Technical Savvy: You've worked with or serviced technical products, especially those involving telecomms, electrical or software-based systems.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Comfortable navigating industry regulations, sustainability requirements, and government-driven projects.
  • Soft Skills: Tenacious, proactive, entrepreneurial. Skilled at influencing demanding customers and managing change in dynamic environments.
  • Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
  • Background in project management, particularly with R&D or technical product delivery, is highly advantageous.
