About Our Client

Our client is an Australian contract manufacturer of liquids, powders, effervescent tablets, and capsules within the wellness space. They are certified by TGA, HACCP, ISO, and HALAL.

Job Description

Reporting to the COO, this role oversees 15 production lines and manages 44-50 staff, including mostly casuals and approximately 7 team leaders. You will be responsible for achieving >98% DIFOT, maintaining safety, quality, and productivity. This could look like:

  • Staff management - upskilling, rostering, coaching
  • Working with maintenance to ensure OEE
  • Analysing production performance data
  • Providing technical support as required
  • Driving a strong safety culture
  • Adhering to strict GMP

The Successful Applicant

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role in a pharmaceutical/TGA-listed medicine production environment. You will also have:

  • Strong people management skills
  • Trouble shooting/technical skills
  • Able to work cross functionally with safety/HR/supply chain/ops
  • Ability to communicate both up and down effectively
  • Able to work in an agile and fast paced environment
  • Be a change agent
