A public sector organisation with many services, many capabilities and many partners responsible for emergency management programs and services throughout Queensland.

Job Description

  • Support the Project Manager with project controls, reporting and tracking.
  • Support project team to organise workshops and invitations.
  • Assist with document preparation and review to support organisational design and business improvement activities.
  • Undertake research, interpret and solve problems to support project implementation and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Support recruitment activities.
  • Organise and coordinate schedules and Outlook calendars.
  • Assist with invoicing and project budgets.
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and networks to support project activities and promote positive outcomes to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Be flexible to work on new and different tasks and help organise the timing and prioritisation of them.

The Successful Applicant

Skills and Abilities Required

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Administrator in organisational design and operating model change projects or in a HR or organisational development related project.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of administration and governance structures in a government agency.
  • Experienced at project administration within project management frameworks such as Prince2 or Agile.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including ability to establish positive relationships.
  • A self-starter, takes initiative, able to work autonomously, ability to manage their time lines and competing priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills within a project environment.



Highly Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in supporting organisational design and structural change projects.
  • Experience working within government.
  • Demonstrated experience in software packages such as; Visio, O365 products, and Sharepoint.
