We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality energy projects in the Energy sector. This role is based in Sydney and offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage complex transmission substation and renewable energy projects.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of transmission substation and renewable energy projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Background in the Energy industry, with 1-2 projects under your belt, with experience in Transmission substations from 132kV and above.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing complex energy projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, compliance, and safety regulations.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working on projects for Transgrid, Ausnet or Powerlink would be a distinct advantage.
