Job Description

  • Prepare and manage financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Handle budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Reconcile financial records and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with property managers to optimise financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and analyses.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Property Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA (or working towards).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the property industry or a similar sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
