Job Description

  • Prepare and manage accurate financial reports and reconciliations for property portfolios.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and manage financial transactions, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support decision-making through financial insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial reviews.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial advice to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system upgrades within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Property Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards).
  • Proven experience in the property industry or a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
