About Our Client
The client is a family run and operated residential property firm who have business for the past 50 years. They focus on residential sales and property management in the Brisbane CBD and surrounding suburbs.
Job Description
As the Property Manager, you will work within the Property Management department and be responsible for end to end management of a small portfolio with no Trust Accounting. The successful candidate will be able to start with immediate effect and will enjoy full support in the transition of the role.
Specifically, you will:
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and creditors - portfolio of approximately 130 properties
- Conduct entry and exit reports and routines
- Prepare tenant sign-ups and lease renewals
- Process maintenance requests and organise repairs
- Software programmes used are Console Cloud, Rex and InspectRealEstate - experience will be preferred
- Manage RTA dispute resolution and bond refunds
- Attend QCAT hearings if necessary
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience as a Property Manager (min. 2 years)
- Hold a Certificate in Real Estate and current drivers license
- Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
- Console Cloud experience preferred
- Desire to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, problem resolution and presentation skills
- Exceptional time management with the ability to prioritise deadlines
