This mid-level Quantity Surveyor role focuses on pre-contract activities including estimating, costing, tenders, and RFQs, with some post-contract exposure. The successful candidate will provide cost input for proposals, manage tenders, and support variations across projects in mining, construction, and infrastructure.

A leading provider of engineering and construction services across WA, delivering large-scale infrastructure and mining projects with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and project excellence.

Job Description

  • Pre-contract focus: estimating, costing, tendering, and RFQs across all WA projects.
  • Embedded in the Bids & Tenders team, providing cost input and financial oversight for proposals.
  • Manage tenders end-to-end and hand over to project teams for execution and ongoing variations.
  • Some post-contract responsibilities including variations and claims support.
  • Targeting a mid-level QS with 3-8 years' experience; qualifications in QS or Construction Management preferred.
  • Strong skills in estimating, costing, and contracts administration; familiarity with AS2124/AS4000 contracts advantageous.
  • Work closely with a small, collaborative team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency with cost estimation and financial modelling tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
