We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a multinational enterprise operating across multiple jurisdictions, for an experienced Senior Compliance Officer. This is an urgent role requiring a hands-on professional who can manage BAU compliance activities while engaging with senior stakeholders. The role is based in Sydney.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute day-to-day compliance activities, including:
    • Client onboarding and periodic reviews
    • Preparation and submission of regulatory reports
    • Addressing pending policies and documentation gaps
  • Maintain and strengthen the compliance framework across funds and trustee services.
  • Support policy reviews and updates in line with regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance obligations are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Assist with risk assessments and compliance monitoring programs.



The Successful Applicant

  • Essential:
  • 5-8 years post-qualification experience in compliance within funds management and trustee services.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks (ASIC, APRA, AML/CTF).
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply regulatory obligations in a practical business context.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in client onboarding and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
