Job Description

  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provide technical support and product training to customers.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to represent the company and build relationships.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitive offerings.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Engineer should have:

  • Strong understanding of industrial/manufacturing processes and products.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sales and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Reasonable knowledge of filter pressers and thickeners including reading drawings
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
