Job Description

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
  • Oversee budget preparation and monitor financial performance against budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable, and receivable processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
  • Support the leadership team with financial planning and strategy development.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Big 4 Audit experience is prefered
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CA or CPA).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MYOB accounting software or similar systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in the Not For Profit sector is prefered
