This opportunity seeks a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations of the business and further support a tremendous period of organic growth. The successful candidate will report to the CFO and be responsible for monthly reporting, implementing and manage financial controls and collaborate with other departments to improve and optimise financial performance and efficiency's.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Accurate and timely month end reporting to include P&L's, balance sheet reconciliations, board packs etc.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Overseeing AP, AR and Payroll functions.
  • Preparation of BAS, Payroll Tax.
  • Manage any project reporting.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary to assist in strategic business decision to optimise growth.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have worked in a similar financial management position and be qualified or nearing CA/CPA qualification. The following criteria should also be met:

  • Nearing qualification or be CA/CPA qualified.
  • Been in a similar financial management role for 5+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of Xero
  • Advanced Excel skill set.
