Due to an exciting period of growth and success, culminated with the appointment of two new partners, a number of senior level roles have become available in their Sydney Corporate practice, located in stunning, new, state-of-the-art offices in Tower 1 Barangaroo!
Reporting directly to globally-recognised and awarded Partners across the M&A, Takeovers, ECM and Debt Capital Markets space, you will act on some of the largest and most exciting, high-profile deals Australia has to offer.

There are three, individual, Senior Associate positions available across the Public M+A/ Takeovers, ECM and DCM teams.
The M+A Team assist with all stages of a transaction, from preparing the business for sale or performing due diligence, to negotiating the purchase agreement, coordinating the closing across multiple jurisdictions, and integrating the operations of the resulting business.
The Capital Markets Teams advise issuers, investment banks, shareholders and governments on local and cross-border stock exchange listings, equity and debt securities offerings, rights issues and entitlement officers, issuance and buy back of debt and note programs, stock exchanging compliance, tender and exchange offers, and financing and hedging transactions.
They also represent clients in investigations involving securities laws, stock exchange rules, tax regulations, improper payments and insider trading and have experience advising on the securities law aspects of employee benefit plans and working on proxy solicitations and accounting restatements.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Applicant:
- Highly motivated and driven Corporate Lawyers with at least 5 year's PQE gained at a top-tier firm, or leading financial services institution for the capital markets roles.
- A solid understanding and demonstrable experience of public M&A and corporate transactions, such as takeovers, mergers, reconstructions, acquisitions and divestments, equity capital markets and debt capital markets and securitisation.
- Exceptional technical, drafting and commercial skills with a strong client service ethic.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team and assist with the support and training of junior team members.
