Job Description

You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks with support and supervision, including but not limited to:

  • Working on a diverse range of workplace relations matters, including employee entitlements, enterprise bargaining and enterprise agreement disputes, executive employment and corporate governance issues, award classifications and post-employment restraints, broad employment law matters.
  • You will also advise on commercial contracts, commercial law matters, draft commercial agreements and commercial advice.
  • Be a key contact with regular involvement with clients, which include employers and employees across various sectors; and
  • Appear in various courts and tribunals, including the Fair Work Commission.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an admitted lawyer with 3 year PQE minimum,
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail,
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Show initiative and work well within a team,
  • Capably manage multiple priorities,
  • Be proactive, eager to learn, and maintain a positive attitude,
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment,
