This is a unique opportunity to join one of Canberra's leading national law firms within their Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team. Working with a market leading Partner and Lawyers across a range of general commercial litigation matters and Insolvency work.

The Successful Applicant
This opportunity will provide the successful applicant a wide range of exposure to various areas of commercial litigation, which may include:
- Consulting and advising clients of the important case detail elements
- Determine legal strategies on cases going to trial
- Offering effective legal advice when dealing with case matters outside of court
- Conduct Pre-Trial Actions preparing the Client for trial
- Interview witnesses and other parties in relation to the case
- Represent Clients during a trial, presenting evidence, making opening and closing statements, cross-examining witnesses and experts and finally argue motions
What's on Offer
This role will suit an experienced and passionate commercial litigation lawyer who has at least 5 years of experience from a reputable litigation practice. Ideally a lawyer who prides themselves on their commitment, resilience and attention to detail and who is excellent with client service and work ethic. This role will also suit a lawyer who is strong at mentoring and overseeing junior lawyers and who can assist the partner in further developing their market presence in Canberra.
