They are currently investing in a major data and reporting uplift, aimed at improving how operational data is captured, analysed, and visualised to enable smarter, more informed decision-making.

You'll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, working alongside both business and technical teams on a high-impact transformation initiative.

Job Description

Your role will be focused on but not limited to:

  • Gather, analyse, and refine business and reporting requirements through stakeholder engagement
  • Review existing reports and data sources to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and duplication
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured functional specifications for Power BI dashboards
  • Define and document metrics, calculations, and data definitions to ensure consistency
  • Collaborate with data engineers and BI developers to support build and delivery
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to align stakeholders on reporting needs
  • Support testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle



The Successful Applicant

You're a confident and detail-oriented Business Analyst who thrives in data-driven environments and enjoys bringing clarity to complex or ambiguous requirements.

You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within data/reporting or analytics projects
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation and documentation
  • Exposure to Power BI or business intelligence/reporting tools
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications



Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data platforms or data warehousing (e.g. Databricks)
  • Background working in Agile delivery environments
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
