Job Description

  • Analyse and document business processes, systems, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define project objectives.
  • Develop and present comprehensive business cases to support decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate requirements.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Public Sector policies and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Analyst should have:

  • Proven experience in business analysis within the Public Sector or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of technology systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver detailed business cases.
  • Proficiency in facilitating workshops and managing project requirements.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in the Public Sector.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and user story development.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
