Job Description

  • Oversee the debt recovery process to ensure timely payments.
  • Negotiate repayment plans with clients while maintaining a professional approach.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate actions in line with company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the accounting and finance team on collection activities.
  • Handle escalated cases and liaise with external stakeholders when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communication and agreements with clients.
  • Support the team with process improvements to enhance efficiency in debt collection operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Collection Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in debt collection within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and manage overdue accounts effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
