Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to align with project goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Draft, edit, and review high-quality communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and reports.
  • Coordinate media relations activities and manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support crisis communication efforts as required, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
  • Manage external vendors and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance communication strategies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in delivering strategic communication initiatives within the public sector or similar industries.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with media relations and public relations practices.
  • A degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is desirable
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms, including digital and social media.
