The role will focus on the autonomous management of a variety of contracts across civil and construction works, naturally transitioning as the project matures.

About Our Client

Our client specialises in the exploration and extraction of rare earths for applications within electric vehicles, medical equipment and other digital devices. Our client is looking to leverage the expected discrepancy in the supply and demand of rare earths with the impeding integration of advanced technological products across the world.

Job Description

Due to the current stage of the project the focus of the role will have the potential to shift from predominantly pre-award to end to end contract management. Therefore, the responsibilities of the role will include but will not be limited to following:

  • Previous experience and the ability to prepare, evaluate, and manage the tender and proposal process. This may include but is not limited to general tender documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations, term and conditions reviews etc.
  • The ability to draft and implement master/framework contracts with a variety of suppliers.
  • The ability to review variations to regular standard terms and conditions and prepare responses as required to mitigate risk and liability whilst simultaneously achieving favourable commercial outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

The successful individual will demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience managing the end-to-end contract process, ideally with a focus on civil or construction work.
  • Demonstrated experience developing the maturity and efficiency of a procurement/contract function.
  • Previous exposure to green-field projects.
  • Qualifications within the construction, finance or engineering would be highly regarded.
