Our client is a corporate health and fitness organisation providing its members and their families with access to a wide choice of fitness facilities. We work with the public sector, corporate employers and leading fitness facilities across Australia and New Zealand.

Job Description

  • Manage large datasets using digital tools to apply modelling techniques which support pricing and business decisions.
  • Design and deliver dashboards and reports using Snowflake and BI tools (Power BI preferred), Power Query and Power Pivot to communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with tech, finance, sales, operations and leadership teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored insights.
  • Build and maintain pricing models to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of commercial deals, providing insights and recommendations to optimise profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing strategies to inform and improve products and solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Data Analyst should have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in data analysis - strong focus on pricing, financial modelling or commercial deals.
  • Education - Degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance (CA/CPA) or related field.
  • Advanced technical skills - SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Snowflake ML and OLAP tools, for data analysis and predictive modelling is preferred.
  • Strong analytic skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
