Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders while mentoring a team of draftspersons.Key Responsibilities:Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards.Team Leadership: Mentor and develop drafting team; set objectives and review performance.Project Coordination: Work with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines and quality standards.Quality Assurance: Implement drafting standards and conduct QA checks on all drawings.Technology Integration: Adopt new software and tools to improve efficiency.Resource Management: Allocate resources and maintain project dashboards.Training & Development: Provide training and foster continuous learning.Communication: Facilitate collaboration between drafting, engineering, and project teams.The Successful ApplicantYou will be an experienced HVAC draftsperson with at least 5+ years' industry experience, strong technical knowledge, and proven leadership skills. You'll bring proficiency in drafting software and BIM tools, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. A growth mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality are essential.A successful candidate should have:Associate degree in Drafting or Mechanical Engineering Technology (Bachelor's desirable).5+ years' experience in HVAC or construction drafting.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in relevant drafting software and BIM tools.
