About Our Client
Our client is a well established and reputable Government Department supporting major public works, maintenance works, government procurement, and information/communications services.
This role involves providing professional and up to date advice across Industrial Relations matters. The ideal candidate will have a sounds understanding of Australian Industrial Relations laws and policies. This role is responsible for the delivery of Industrial Relations services, advocacy, advice and liaising with multiple competing stakeholders. This role is vital in supporting the industrial harmony across the department ensuring that all entitlements and conditions of employment are in accordance with legislative requirements. This role also supports workplace investigations and aims to ensure that the appropriate outcomes are reached.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP. They will need to have a university degree involving Industrial Relations and Employments Law or Human Resources with extensive experience in IR and ER. The ideal candidate will have highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiating and problem solving skills, along with the ability to build and improve stakeholder relationships.
