Reporting directly to the financial controller, the role involves a diverse mix of technical and project accounting/commercial responsibilities. You will oversee financial reporting and robust internal controls while also leveraging strong financial modelling skills, assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

About Our Client

Our client is a growing property developer based in the CBD.

Job Description

  • Prepare statutory accounts
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain and develop robust internal controls
  • Assist with project budgeting and forecasting
  • Cash flow modelling
  • Management reporting and commentary
  • Due diligence and feasibility analysis to support commercial decision making
  • Ad hoc analysis

The Successful Applicant

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting/finance
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Big 4/Mid Tier audit background preferred
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of IFRS
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial models
  • Experience with BI tools + SQL ideal
  • Property development/financial services background advantageous
