About Our Client
Our client is a large organisation based in the south east suburbs with outlets and operations across the lower part of the state. They are a well recognised brand within the hospitality industry and are on a strong trajectory of growth in recent years. They are looking to add an intelligent and driven individual to their finance team with this newly created role.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller but with interactions across the whole business, the role will be mainly engrossed with the financial controls of the business and generating and delivering accurate reports come month, quarter and year end. The role will involve continuous reviews and implementation of process improvements and changes to ensure the company is running at its highest efficiency. General ledger maintenance, monthly board reports and being a key part of the audit process will be expected. In the future the role will require the running a small team which will entail training and mentorship of junior staff.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful candidate you will be CPA/CA qualified with preferably BIG 4 experience and/or strong industry experience. You will be both a confident individual that can liaise with both internal and external stakeholders whilst also having a strong attention to detail and the ability to be systematic across the role. A demonstrated history of mentoring and leading junior staff will be advantageous as well as a key understanding of ERP systems.
