An iconic Australian FMCG brand, our client is a market-leader and due to company growth and performance, is now seeking to strengthen its financial reporting team with this new hire.
Job Description
Reporting into the General Manager - Finance, this role will play a key role within the overall finance function and will oversee junior staff. Key daily duties include;
- Month end financials
- Lodgement of BAS Returns
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and manage annual audit process
- Prepare FBT and Income Tax Returns
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
- Maintain the fixed asset register
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a prior background working in either Financial Accounting, Senior Accounting or Finance Manager roles. Traits will also include:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience mentoring and leading teams/staff
- Self-starter and proactive mindset
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong Excel skills
