Job Description

  • Lead and manage a variety of complex fire engineering projects, ensuring high-quality, technically sound fire safety outcomes tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and coordinated design solutions.
  • Prepare, review, and sign off detailed technical reports and documentation as a Professional Engineer.
  • Engage and build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure timelines, budgets, and financial targets are met.
  • Contribute to developing project proposals and scope definitions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of quality systems and best practices within the team.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and staff.
  • Represent the team at high-level external meetings and contribute to internal initiatives and events.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Fire Safety Engineer should have:

  • Qualified and Chartered Fire Engineer with relevant tertiary education.
  • Extensive experience delivering complex fire risk assessments and technical solutions.
  • Proficient in CFD/FDS modelling and familiar with regulatory compliance.
  • Strong project management skills, able to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of engaging clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven mentor who supports and develops junior engineers.
  • Committed to continuous learning and driving innovation.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and integrity.
