Job Description

The Senior FP&A Manager will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to track key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and analysis.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
  • Support decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and finance regulations and standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior FP&A Manager should have:

  • Must have exposure to Energy sector (gas or electricity), generation or retail
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and CA/CPA
  • Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis within the energy and natural resources industry.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Exposure to derivatives is ideal
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
