Job Description

  • Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Collaborate with management to address workforce planning and employee relations matters.
  • Support recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, and conducting interviews.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support organisational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to senior management.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for employees.
  • Manage employee performance and support professional growth opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior HR Advisor should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar HR advisory role within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and workplace regulations in Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
