We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our leading clients. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for creating robust, high-performance IT infrastructures.

Job Description

  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
  • Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals
  • Project management and delivering on key technology initiatives
  • Ensuring IT infrastructure aligns with organisational strategies and objectives
  • Managing vendors and third-party relationships
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Continuously improving infrastructure performance and reliability

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer should have:

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Specific skills and exposure to: Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems; Linux Operating Systems; VMware virtualisation stack; Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Experience assessing patching requirements, coordinating deployments, testing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases
  • Experience migrating systems from on-premises to the cloud
  • Experience developing and utilising Enterprise patching solutions to enable automation.
  • Experience with utilising PowerShell or similar scripting language
  • Experience supporting digital systems and platforms such as Oracle Financials or similar, Sharepoint and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience and knowledge of working within the ACSC Essential 8/ISM and PSPF.
