Senior Management Accountant
Initial 3 month contract
About Our Client
Our Client has a respected brand and employee proposition and are about to enter a period of review and possible growth, hence have a requirement for a strong Manager to join their finance team.
Leading a team of 3-4 Management Accountants, you will take a core focus on the preparation of budget and forecast for business units internally, ensuring that any financial information and analysis is presented in a meaningful manner to key stakeholders. Your general job scope will encompass the following areas;
- Co-ordinate the monthly commentary on actual to budget variances for inclusion in Management Reports
- Prepare ad hoc management reports as required.
- Assist with internal and external audit reviews and actions to ensure recommendations are followed up.
- Provide input and advice on business process improvement opportunities
The Successful Applicant
You must hold a relevant accounting qualification (CA/CPA status) with a minimum of 8 year's experience in a similar level role. Your proven leadership experience is essential to managing the existing team and to prove your strengths in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for complex organisations. Your interpersonal skills will see that are able to build relationships with Executive stakeholders and manage up to senior staff members where required to manage expectations and ensure you obtain the information you need to deliver to in your role, on time. You will be solutions orientated and have a high level of analytic and problem solving skills.
What's on Offer
An initial 3 month contract, with parking on site and a possibility of longer term or permanent employment. You must be able to commit to the period of the contract and start with little notice.
