As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations within the industrial and manufacturing sector. The role will be across both Management Accounting & Financial Accounting and commence asap as a short-term interim role. There may be an opportunity for this to transition into a longer term opportunity.

Job Description

The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for the following:

  • Inventory management, accounting
  • Assist with product costing
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Provide insights to senior management on financial performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Produce financial statements
  • Assist with tax requirements
  • Assist with cost analysis and financial modelling to support operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Other ad hoc projects as requested by the Head of Finance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounting within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
