Job Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support business operations and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices within network operations.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline network deployment and management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations within the network environment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders as needed.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and audits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Network DevOps Engineer should have:

  • Ideally Terraform Certified with deep knowledge of the HashiCorp toolset (Vault, Terraform, Packer).
  • Proven experience deploying Terraform in highly secure, multi-datacentre environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco networking infrastructure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Firewalls Cisco and/or Palo Alto and applicable management tools to manage such as Cisco Security Manager (CSM)
  • Strong communications (data/voice/video) infrastructure experience
  • Proficient in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation
  • Python and relevant scripting languages to automate activities.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn: Network management tools such as Cisco DNA Centre, Statseeker and Infoblox
