Job Description

As Senior Payroll Officer / Lead, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a small payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements, supporting payroll change management initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver education and outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to audits, reporting, and workforce projects that enhance payroll efficiency.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong payroll experience with exposure to coaching or mentoring others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of payroll systems (Chris 21 looked upon favourably but not a prerequisite)
  • Ability to interpret and implement Enterprise Agreements.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
