The core responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Manager are· Manage existing & new product ranges· Select, evaluate, and manage vendor partnerships· Supplier price negotiation balancing total cost and quality· Sourcing and managing a large number of SKUs from overseas manufacturers· Identification of New Product Opportunities through Market Research and AnalysisThere is an established support team in Australia with eleven people responsible for assisting Product Management, Demand Planning, Purchase Orders, Graphic Design, Expediting, and Shipping.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have an attitude and desire to help us keep building this great company.We are seeking commercially minded candidates with 10-plus years of experience in overseas Sourcing and Supplier Management.Degree qualifications are essential and further supply chain-related studies such as APICS or CIPSA will be considered favourably. Experience in engineering or building supplies, hardware, or safety products could be helpful.The company prides itself in having the highest staff retention rate in our industry.
