Job Description

  • Oversee the financial operations of several property portfolios
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
  • Conduct financial analyses and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes
  • Act as a financial liaison between property managers and investors
  • Maintain updated knowledge of property market trends
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff, reviewing work and providing guidance on best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Property Accountant should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Profound knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Experience in managing financial operations in the property industry
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases
  • Management and mentoring experience
