Our client is a National leader within the Engineering Industry that specialise in special-purpose equipment design and manufacturing

Job Description

Looking to grow market share, the Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Growing brand recognition and presence across Australia to achieve nominated targets including sales, market share & profitability
  • Responsible for new business sales outside of the existing account portfolio
  • Manage and develop customer relationships with existing customers
  • Develop and implement competitive sales strategies that outperform competitors
  • Drive an intimate understanding of market, trends, and competitor products to enable sustained growth
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified within Engineering or relative hands-on experience
  • A minimum of 5 years experience selling within the Engineering sector
  • Must have experience in selling Engineering products and services, ideally within Rail, Construction, Defence, Mining, Energy or Industrial Industries
  • Must have experience in dealing with annual sales targets of up to $2 million per year or higher
  • Experience in dealing with Executive level stakeholders and decision makers at Management level
  • A hunter mentality and someone who has experience as well as examples of winning new business
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
