Save JobEmail Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsFull-time, permanent employmentOne of the first companies in the world to invent SIEM technologyAbout Our ClientHuntsman has developed two unique and industry leading cyber security risk assessment technologies (based on ACSC Essential 8 security framework) to measure cyber posture: Both products continue to receive critical acclaimThey work hand in hand with a respected engineering, development and R&D team in ongoing development of products that are cutting edge and step ahead in futureThey are an innovative Australian companyOne of the first companies in the world to invent SIEM technologyCustomers include large Federal Government departments, local councils, State Government departments, critical infrastructure, large and mid-sized commercial entities.Job DescriptionCustomer EngagementPresent Huntsman solutions to potential customersComplete Proofs of Concept to potential customers, as required.Provide technical support and architecture training to partners.Actively contribute to technical proposals and partner engagements.Maintain a watch on the security market and work with the broader Huntsman team to pitch solutions to match changing customer needs.Be a subject matter expert on the Huntsman products and articulate and demonstrate the technical advantages of Huntsman solutions over our competitors.Attend and participate at industry events, from time to time.Implementation and Customer SupportActively contribute to technical proposals and partner engagements.Work with the broader Huntsman team to develop, maintain and document solutions that meet changing security priorities.Perform installation and configuration of the Huntsman software - for both Proofs of Concept and production environments.Conduct Huntsman training courses (including in person and short training video/vignettes) for customers as required.Provide software support - diagnose and provide remedy for configuration, usage or software issues.Maintain good customer relationship and meet customer SLAs.Be an expert on cyber security concepts and be a trusted advisor to our customers.Liaise with Development Team for software support, as required.Assist in writing product and training documentation as requiredPresent Huntsman solutions to potential customersCollect and interpret customer requirements, translate those requirements into specifications for new products and features.Investigate, design and prepare specifications for the new product features - including on-going liaison with the Development Team.Liaise with Development Team for product testing and software bugs.Carry out end-to-end product testing for new releasesThe Successful ApplicantAustralian citizenship.Bachelor's degree in IT (minimum tertiary education).5+ years' security engineer role experience.3+ years' experience with cyber security architecture design and security technologies.Hold a Baseline or Higher.Good understanding of Australian Government cyber security frameworks (including the Essential Eight).Willingness to travel interstate to meet customers and attend trade shows (e.g. AISA) as required.Comprehensive knowledge of UNIX and Windows Operating system (server and desktop).Good written and verbal communication skillsWhat's on OfferHybrid working conditionsHuntsman engineers are not stuck doing one particular task.
