About Our Client

The client is a government digital services team responsible for delivering high‑usage public‑facing websites, apps and real‑time information systems used daily by the community. Job Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Identify and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Document software processes and maintain up-to-date technical records.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to the Transport & Distribution industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Software Developer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in software development and programming languages.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing software solutions.
  • Designing and developing web applications, APIs and backend services
  • Maintaining integrations across real‑time data systems, CMS platforms and mobile/web apps
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues
  • Supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based deployments
  • Translating Figma designs into high‑quality front‑end implementations using Next.js + Tailwind
  • Contributing to Agile ceremonies, code reviews and documentation
