Job Description

  • Provide expert legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts
  • Assist in managing legal risks and ensuring adherence to legislative requirements
  • Support investigations and prepare legal briefs for enforcement actions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal issues
  • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings or at external forums, as required
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks
  • Provide training and guidance on legal and compliance matters to internal teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Solicitor should have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law and admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer
  • Proven experience in providing high-quality legal advice within a regulated environment
  • Strong criminal law knowledge with significant prosecution and advocacy experience
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
