Job Description

  • Lead multiple projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop team members in project management.
  • Oversee design processes and manage contracts and procurement.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, budget, schedule, and specifications.
  • Seek opportunities to reduce risk and optimise delivery.
  • Engage with engineering teams, operational staff, and external consultants.
  • Monitor and report project progress, addressing any deviations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experienced in project management within the resources industry, ideally with a focus on motor control centres and familiarity with the Small Projects Management Framework (SPMF).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise safety, consistently applying a safety-first approach in project delivery.
  • Strong track record in successfully managing multiple projects to scope, budget, schedule, and specifications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven financial assessment competence, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on optimising project delivery.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Confident presenter, capable of effectively communicating complex information in both written and oral formats.
