We are seeking a skilled Senior WHS Advisor to oversee and enhance workplace health and safety practices within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Based near Fremantle, this role is a key part of the site leadership team, and is focused on promoting a strong safety culture along with building a practical approach to safety performance.

Job Description

  • Develop, implement and manage WHS policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation and standards.
  • Deliver safety training and awareness programs across the organisation.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and prepare detailed reports with actionable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.
  • Monitor and review WHS performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior WHS Advisor should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a WHS advisory role within the FMCG or Engineering & Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in delivering safety training and fostering a safety-first culture.
