Job Description

  • Provide first-line technical support to a wide range of internal users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for all support queries.
  • Escalate more complex calls to the relevant IT Support team member.
  • Log all calls in the Service Desk Call Logging system.
  • Take ownership of user problems and follow up for fast resolution.
  • Perform basic administrative support duties.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Service Desk Operator should have:

  • A strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Patience and cool-temperament for dealing with difficult customers.
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
