We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead site-wide engineering and maintenance operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role includes full responsibility for CAPEX projects and new line installations.

Our client is an FMCG manufacturing, site based in Bomaderry NSW.

Job Description

  • Lead all engineering and maintenance activities across the site, including a maintenance team.
  • Manage CAPEX projects from concept to commissioning, including new line builds and installations.
  • Mange a team of maintenance fitters & electricians.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations to align engineering with business goals.
  • Drive operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve asset reliability.
  • Manage external contractors and ensure high standards of safety and performance.
  • Maintain strict budget control and deliver on cost-reduction KPIs.
  • Champion OHS and risk management in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean transformation initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

The successful Site Engineering Manager should have:

  • Experience in Maintenance and Engineering Management within FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven experience managing CAPEX projects, including installation of new production lines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
